Sicily Set
Sicily has a very old tradition of growing olives since they were introduced on the island by the Phoenicians about 3000 years ago. With a climate and landscape that are suited to olive trees, Sicily boasts a variety of terroirs and different prized PDOs (Protected Denominations of Origin). In this set we have selected some of the very best olive oils from the West and South East of the island.

Cherubino Tonda Iblea by Terraliva (Sicily, Siracusa)
PDO Valli Trapanesi by Titone (Sicily, Trapani)
The sunny and hot climate of Sicily tends to favour olive oil with very distinct taste profile and a wide variety of aromatic notes.

Il Galante is a medium green fruity EVOO with strong vegetal notes reminiscent of the artichoke. Bitterness and pepperiness are balanced and relatively discrete.

A monocultivar Tonda Iblea with intense fruitiness and strong aromatic notes of green tomato and fresh almond. All the flavours of Sicily concentrated in an olive oil that has received awards and praise from Gambero Rosso, Slow Food and other guides.
