It all started when…

 

We decided to make our passion a reality. For years, we were scouring for the best olive oils, obsessed to find that freshness that was so rare on the shelves, meeting producers during our holidays. We would bring these treasures home, savouring them modestly to make them last as long as possible in the kitchen. When we moved to Singapore in 2017 with 8L of amazing olive oil in our suitcases, we quickly realised we had to find a way to bring it again ourselves. Fast-forward to 2019, and Olive Groves was born.

We share the Slow Food movement’s vision of a world in which people can access food that is good for them, good for those who grow it and good for the planet, or in the words of Carlo Petrini himself: "Buono, Pulito, Giusto".

In the world of food, and of olive oil in particular, quality fraud has been an endemic issue, which penalizes both small producers and consumers. Our wish is to give you trust in the olive oils we are bringing: oils that are certified organic with full transparency on origin, harvest date, cultivar(s) and more. We hope this selection of exceptional extra virgin olive oils will delight your taste buds and bring harmony to your meals!

Camille is a certified olive oil taster trained at the ASSAM (Agenzia Servizi del Settore Agroalimentare delle Marche in Italy). He entertains his permaculture dreams on a small plot of land and enjoys nothing more than a walk in the wild.

Virginie is an Olive Oil Sommelier trained at the International Culinary Centre. As a passionate home cook who has been fed the Mediterranean diet since infancy, she loves experimenting with culinary traditions and investigating nutritional facts and fads.
