Terre Ducru

Provence, France

In the early 2000s, Philippe Ducru fell in love with a small valley near Mouriès in Provence while visiting a cousin. He was so attracted to the area that he bought a villa there that came with an olive grove. Over time he became so passionate about olive growing that he took over all the neighbouring groves, which were often abandoned.

All five local varieties of olive are present on the estate: Salonenque, Grossane, Aglandau, Verdale des Bouches-du-Rhône and Picholine. These varieties, with their very different characteristics, offer a fascinating playground for blending! Philippe offers two types of olive oils, a rather delicate green fruity oil and a matured fruity oil, the latter being a tradition typical of his region. The entire estate is farmed organically, with Natura 2000 protection for biodiversity.

Terre Ducru EVOOs are distributed exclusively by Olive Groves.
