It all began in the late 19th century, with Michele Librandi, of Arbëreshë origin (an Albanese community), on the same land of Calabria but with fewer olive trees.

The subsequent generations have expanded the groves over 205 hectares and four municipalities, adopted organic methods of cultivation and invested in a modern oil mill. Today Pino, Carmela, Lucia, Angela, Michele are looking after the estate that their father had developed with passion and dedication.
