Molino Il Fattore

Umbria, Italy

The Tega family follows in the tradition of the great Italian master “frantoiani” (oil millers) of the 17th century. It is actually in an old mill near Foligno that Luigi installed his state-of-the-art equipment. His olive groves of the Moraiolo, Leccino and Frantoio varieties are scattered in the surrounding hills over 15 hectares. Although he is always humble, it should be mention ed that Luigi’s organic olive oils have received many awards, including in 2020 by Slow Food, Gambero Rosso and Flos Olei.
