La Ranocchiaia
Tuscany, Italy
Gian Luca and Judyta left their jobs in Firenze to dedicate themselves to olive groves and vineyards that they gradually acquired to reach a total of 30 hectares on the Chianti hills, near the town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa.
Even though they are still young, they consider themselves to be the grandparents of the estate - the precursors, those who started a new story of flavours with a pioneering spirit, a story they continue to write every day on the groves, in the mill and the kitchen of their agriturismo. Over time they they have made a (well-deserved) name as one of Italy’s finest millers and the new generation has come to seek their advice and training.
The structure is made up of the oil mill, but also of a vegetable garden that supplies the farm with fresh vegetables, the wine cellar and a small but well-kept farmhouse with a swimming pool. Their groves and vineyards are all certified organic.
