When Eric Martin gave up his career in management consulting in 2008, to take over from his soon-to-retire father, he knew he wanted to change a few things. He is now the 4th generation olive oil producer in his family at the La Magnanerie (pronoune “la-ma-nia-nuh-rrriii’) estate. Under Eric’s tenure, the domain switched its production to be fully organic and specialised in green fruitiness extra virgin olive oils of the highest quality. His “vintages” are becoming a not so well-kept secret with renowned chefs and olive oil lovers. Eric’s uncompromising approach offers us a rare opportunity to discover local varieties such as Bouteillan, Callian, Petit-Ribier, in monocultivars as well as masterful blends. His signature blend, Cuvée Sauvage, was awarded “World Best Blend in Light Fruity” at Flos Olei in 2019.
